Body - Mk5 Cortina . Shell has never been welded and looks as good underneath as the day it left Ford. Looks like all original panels and most of the paint looks original also. Small crack in paint on the base of drivers window pillar and a chip on the middle of the bonnet. Otherwise a very good looking old car Full chrome African Spec bumpers which are in good order. Paintwork is pretty tidy and perfectly presentable as it is. Not sure if rear lights have been tinted but be better with normal looking ones.

Mechanics - Factory Fitted 3.0 V6 Essex. These engines were upgraded from the early ones we got in the Granadas and Capris. It goes very well. No smoke or nasty rattles. Clutch and brakes are good. As with any old car will need a good checkover from front to back. Carb may need a little adjustment due to the different climate. This model has the 5 link factory rear end set up with the additional panhard style rod to help the handling.

Interior - All standard and in pretty good shape. Slight tear, as shown in pics, on drivers seat. Good door cards, headlining and carpet. Really original old far inside as well.

Wheels - UK spec steels with good tyres and chrome trim rings.
