1964 Ford Cortina Mk1 1500 Super. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done. Fully Uk registered  Very solid old car which starts runs and drives and only needs a bit fettling to get on the road.

 

Body - Mk1 Pre Airflow shell. Good solid car. Never been wlelded. Original inner wings, strut tops, Good floors, boot floor, original sills, arches, wings. Needs one small repair on drivers floor which we are happy to do if we get the asking price. Car was originally white but has at some point been changed to Orange. Paintwork is perfectly presentable. Wont be everyones cup of tea but a really solid example. All the side chrome is good. Bumpers and grille are good. 

 

Mechanics - 1500 Pre crossflow. Car starts and runs no problem. The engine sounds good. Gearbox, clutch and brakes feel Ok. Carb may need adjusting due to the different climate. Will need a good checkover before being used in anger. There is a bit play in the steering system.

 

Interior - Original seats and door cards including front bench seat which are in really good condition. Door cards and headlining are also good. 

 

Wheels - Standard steels with hub caps and trim rings.
