Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport in need of full restoration. It looks rougher than a sandpaper massage but has potential.  Imported from the dryest part of South Africa so good starting point as not previously been butchered. Will need work in all the usual places. Car is complete and is a genuine sport. All tax and duty paid and NOVA declaration done.

 

Body - 1600 Sport strengthened shell similar to our RS models. Car has original inner wings, strut tops, rear arches, sills etc.  Will need work on front floors, rear boot wells, bulkhead and heater bubble at least. Not previously had plates everywhere so you can see what your up against.  Paint is obviously poor. Someone has cut a homemade louvre into the bonnet but would repair.

 

Mechanics - All standard 1600 sport. Not had it up and running yet but its all complete. 

 

Interior - Again standard sport but very tired

 

Wheels - YUK
