1976 Ford Escort Mk2 4 Door. This car came in from South Africa a few years back and it was sold to one of our local customers. He has converted it to a 2.0 5 speed and spent fortunes replacing a stack of mechanical parts. it starts runs and drives very well and is a jump in and go car. We have the V5 here with zero previous UK owners. Its also really solid.

Body - Early Mk2 4 door shell. All original floors, inner wings, sills, rear arches, pillars etc. Very solid car throughout. Looks like it may have had a small repair in spare wheel well but otherwise a very good original shell. Quarter bumpers fitted, mexico spoiler. Good grille. Quite a straight car along the sides. No major damage only a couple of minor scratches here and there.

Mechanics - RS2000 engine fitted with alloy sump, mounts, alloy bellhousing, 5 speed box, flywheel, high lift cam, head been skimmed, vernier timing pulley, english axle with 3.5 RS Diff, The following items were renewed, Steerick Rack, Track Rod Ends, Steering Coupling, Double width anti roll bar, reconditioned struts, uprated springs, roller top mounts, bearings, discs, calipers, pads, flexi pipes, quick shift gearlever, gearbox lowering blocks, single piece propshaft, halfshaft bearings, rear cylinders and shoes, leaf springs, rear adjustable shocks, 4 branch manifold,ashley complete exhaust system, throttle cable, electric fan and switch, fan belt, brake master cylinder.

Interior - Ford Galaxy front seats fitted. Standard rear seat and door cards. Headlining is good. Would benefit from a bit of an upgrade inside but perfectly useable.

Wheels - Rs / Laser style 4 spoke polished Alloys with good 185/60/13 tyres.
