Ford Escort MK2 1.3 Van. RHD Import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Will need UK registered but we will complete all the paperwork for this. Starts runs and drives but definitely a lot of room for improvement. Good basis for a project.

Body - MK2 Escort Van. Food inner wings, strut tops, wings., bonnet and doors. Has had previous repairs on drivers doorpost, rear roof gutters by the look of it. Front floors will also require attention. Not deadly bad but probably best to put front floor pans in. Paintwork is average at best. Has had wider arch lips fitted at rear so probably wants put back to standard. Quarter bumper fitted, Sport / Mexico front spoiler fitted. Two holes in rear load area. One seems to be a crude inspection hatch so you can get to the tank sender. Other looks like storage hole. Again youd probably want to rectify these going forward

Mechanics - Standard 1300 crossflow which starts and runs. Engine sounds fine. Brakes and clutch work. Gearbox seemed Ok on short test drive. Carb may need adjusted due to the different climate. Van will need fully checked opver before being used in anger.

Interior - African Sport clocks, seats and dash top have been recovered. Door cards are Ok. Steering wheel is aftermarket and not so nice!!

Wheels - Deep dish rostyles. Probably too wide as beem rubbing on the arches at the front.
