1991 Ford Escort XR3i EFI. This car has had 5 previous owners and covered just under 48k miles from new. It’s a UK car, which has spent most of its life in the care of a low number of owners in Northern Ireland. It retains all original and correct 90 Spec / EFI features, including wheels, side skirts, correct rear spoiler and original Carello headlights and spotlights. The spare wheel is the original and has never been used. Current MOT runs out in August 2026.

Body – Unrestored, completely original and solid. It does not look to have ever been welded and has been protected underneath with clear Waxoyl or similar. Wing rails, battery tray, etc. are rust free. Radiant red paint is in great condition with only a few minor marks due to age. Rear window rubbers are slightly cracked but new replacements are included with the sale.

Mechanics - Original 1.6 EFI engine and gearbox. All suspension, brakes, etc. are standard and in good condition. Within the last few months, the car has had a comprehensive service, including oil, filters, timing belt, etc. It has also had a new battery, clutch, radiator, exhaust, thermostat, fuel pump, brake discs, pads and fitting kit.

Interior – Completely standard and in excellent condition. Slide / tilt sunroof works perfectly, seats and unmarked and firm, electric windows, mirrors, etc. all work properly. Original 4 speaker Ford radio / cassette still fitted and working. Some common deterioration of the numbers on the rev counter only.

Wheels – Correct Cosworth style alloy wheels in excellent condition with good 185/60/R14 Tyres.
