1979 Ford Escort Mk2 1600 Sport. RHD import which is fully UK registered. Car was MOTd last year and we are happy to puit a fresh 12 Months MOt on for the new owner.

Body - Export spec 1600 Sport shell with extra strengthening similar to our RS models. Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, floors. Very good underneath. Its had a small repair in each boot well otherwise no signs of any nasty patches or welding. Paintwork is very nice. This is an African colour called Jewel Blue which is very rare. I dont think ive seen another one over here. Panel gaps are all good. Really good looking straight old car.

Mechanics - Good original 1600 crossflow with original 4 speed box. All standard running gear. Car starts runs and drives well and was in use before it was exported. New starter motor fitted.

Interior - Original seats, door cards, headlining carpets. Everything is in good order. Door cards have had speakers fitted.

Wheels - Standard deep dish sport steels with good 175 70 13 tyres.
