Ford Escort Mk1 1300. RHD import from South Africa with all tax and duty paid. Nova declaration has been done and UK registration has been applied for. This one is a very solid car which starts runs and drives but will need a bit of finishing off / tidying. Really original strong shell.

Body - Good original inner wings, strut tops, sills, arches, floors, boot wells. No signs of any nasty patches or botched up repairs. Looks a very good shell. Paintwork is Ok and is useable but if you want it really nice youd need to be prepared to paint it. Bit of blistering on rear quarters boot lid and rear of roof. Look like cheap paint / bad prep rather than rust.

Mechanics - Good 1300 crossflow which is very quiet. Original 4 speed box. Clutch and brakes feel Ok. As with any old car it will need a good checkover prior to sending it sideways round your local roundabout.

Interior - Original interior which is fairly tidy but probably not very appealing.

Wheels - Chrome Rostyles with decent tyres. 3 wheels are full chrome. 1 is half chrome with trim ring
